18 Weeks

How far along? 18 weeks

Maternity clothes? I went shopping with my mom and got some great
maternity work pants. I've been wearing regular shirts that are a
little longer and stretch. Maternity pants are like wearing a little piece of heaven.

Stretch marks? Nope

Sleep? I have extremely dry skin so I've been trying to sleep covered
in a layer of lotion which makes the covers stick and sleep is a
little more difficult. My bladder wakes me up a couple nights a week.
I did get an EXCELLENT body pillow for Christmas which makes me
look forward to sleeping.

Best moment this week: Jason and I had a great conversation about
some of our anxieties and it was such a relief to know that he's
feeling the same way I am and that I'm not alone. I love him a
little more than before. :)

Miss Anything? I miss sleeping on my stomach with my arms tucked
under my pillow.

Movement: Yep! I am beginning to feel the "butterflies" that
people have been talking about. They happen more often than I
imagined they would. I can't wait to be able to feel them from
the outside and share them with Jason.

Food cravings: I made french fries and my brother got me some of
the FF seasoning from Baker's Square = Delicious. I also LOVE a
friend of mine's homemade pickles. Red licorice has been hitting
the spot too.

Anything making you queasy or sick: I have to eat about every 2
hours  or I start to get nauseous. I have also discovered that
sleep is much more important that it was to me pre pregnancy. If
I don't get around 8 hours, my day starts out terrible!

Have you started to show yet? Sure have! I especially look pregnant
when I'm sitting down. My body still isn't screaming, "There's a
baby in me!" So I get those questionable looks from people...
they are a little comical.

Gender: A Mystery until Jan. 16th...

Labor Signs: None

Belly Button in or out? Pretty far in still

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time? Roller coaster... it changes

by the hour. I wouldn't say "moody" anymore... it's more of
an anxious feeling.

Looking forward to: Finding out if we are having a boy or girl
and more details about the baby's health. We are scheduled
for an ultrasound on Jan. 16th.
